The City of Missoula is seeking proposals from qualified independent municipal auditors (hereinafter called Auditor), licensed by the State of Montana and having sufficient governmental accounting and auditing experience in performing an audit in accordance with the specifications outlined in the RFP. The audits will encompass a financial and compliance examination of the City’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR). The work will also encompass a report on agreed-upon procedures for the local building code enforcement program. This agreed-upon procedure needs to be performed in accordance with attestation standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The sufficiency of the procedures is solely the responsibility of the Montana State Department of Labor and Industry, as required by ARM 24.301.208. The fee for the agreedupon procedures should be separated out from the audit services.
