Illinois State University is seeking statement of qualifications from elevator consultant firms interested in providing on-site review and evaluation, along with planning and design services for upgrades and improvements to the elevators in the 5 story Milner Library on the main campus. Firms should be familiar with elevator equipment usage demands for a University Library as well as the wide range of hoist-way conditions found in the temperate climate of central Illinois. The range of services to be provided include assessment of existing conditions and accessibility, recommendations for remedial work, design, construction specifications and documents including warranty phase requirements, and estimated costs for completion of required project work.
