1.1 The City of Johnson City Freedom Hall Civic Center is seeking secure, firm prices to provide the Auxiliary Gymnasium refinishing services and products. Firm prices is to be construed as the packing, shipping, delivery, uncrating, handling, and use of specified products; labor and correct application of refinishing products; demonstration of proper care and maintenance for completed floors; and cleanup and removal of all debris from the premises; any additional requirements of this quote, and whatever other specific services are required to provide a complete refinish of a maple gymnasium floor at City of Johnson City, Freedom Hall campus located at 1320 Pactolas Rd, Johnson City TN 37604. The scope of work includes: Freedom Hall gym floor (110’ x 108’ = 11,880 sq ft) 1.2 Sand entire floor up to bleachers using heavy duty floor equipment in accordance with Hardwood Flooring Manufacturers Association (MFMA) specifications. 1.3 Game lines using standard colors: 1.3.1 Main basketball court – 2” black with 9” side borders and 9” end borders 1.3.4 Stained three-point arc – clear Maroon Tint 1.3.5 Two cross basketball courts – 2” (if possible) 1.3.6 One main volleyball court – 2” Green 1.3.7 Two cross volleyball courts – 2” White 1.3.8 Three cross pickle ball courts - 2” Gray 1.4 Seal and finish with water based polyurethane Gym Finish using MFMA recommended coat system process. 1.5 Include repair damaged flooring (approximate): Area#1 – 6’x15’ (outside wall) Area #2 – 9’x10’ (pool side wall) Area #3 – 3’x3’ (near electrical box) Area #4 – 3’x10’ (outside wall) Area #5 – 4’x12’ (outside wall) Area #6 – 3 single board replacements (along wall) 1.6 Add Alternate: Court layout changes to include change painted sidelines to stain; add stain to ½ circle at top of lanes; not paint to paint.
