Develop the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for the City designed to guide the county’s economic growth IAW 13 CFR Part 303. • Creation and retention of high-quality jobs. • Diversification of the economy • Workforce investment and mitigation of the low-skilled labor force to high-skilled or specialized trade fields. • Financing economic infrastructures to solidify economic prosperity and growth. 2. Collect regional economic data: a. Determine local economic conditions and activity such as, but not limited to, employment, demographics, and existing industry data. b. Data will be collected from information through a variety of sources, which may include surveys, one-on-one interviews, focus groups and open public input. 3. Perform a market analysis identifying the most likely economic opportunities available to the community, as well as those opportunities having significant community drivers.
