The Scope of Work for this project encompasses the removal and replacement of two (2) radar speed signs located at the intersections of NE 195th St. and 156 Ave. NE. The southern radar speed sign (“South Radar Speed Sign” or “South Sign”) was involved in a vehicle collision and has been removed from the project site. Both signs will require conduit proofing and wire testing prior, to verify the direct feed is functional. The South Radar Speed Sign will require construction of a new concrete footing, electrical conduit and wiring, pole and fixtures, and LED radar speed sign. The northern radar speed sign (“North Radar Speed Sign” or “North Sign”) was unaffected in the vehicle collision and will require a new LED radar speed sign, wiring, and fixtures to be mounted to the existing pole. All Work shall be completed as shown on these bid documents, drawings, plans or as directed by the City Engineer. This Work includes but is not limited to furnishing all prevailing wage labor, materials, equipment, tools, traffic control, disposal, delivery, installation, license and permit fees, all applicable state and local taxes, and any other associated costs required to complete the Work in full. Verifying operation of both signs once installation is completed is also required.
