The Contractor shall be responsible for the below repair services: Repair /Install Phase: The Contractor shall reroute the water pipe outside of the maintenance office on the other side of the wall, set new racks and hangers for the new pipe to be installed, and install a new 6-inch ball valve, reducing the 6-inch line down to 4 inches. The Contractor is to tie in any small water lines back into the new trunk line that was attached to the old cast iron pipe, which is to be left abandoned in the ceiling. Additionally, the Contractor shall install approximately 150 feet of new pipe, abandoning the old cast iron pipe above the ceiling in the maintenance offices. Finally, the Contractor shall complete the tie-in work to the cast iron pipe in one day to limit the water outage for the powerhouse to only one day. 1.5.1.c Clean up: Ensure the removal of all litter and debris in the work area at the end of each work day and upon completion of service. All tools, equipment, and uninstalled materials shall be removed from the work area on a daily basis. The Contractor must haul away off site any and dirt and debris that cannot be used for backfilling holes for compacting.
