The City wishes to retain state licensed HVAC/Mechanical firm(s) to provide the mechanical services. The firm(s) is to have sufficient staff to be available on an “on call” basis, and which will respond, as requested, primarily by the Public Buildings Director, the Public Services Department, and/or on occasion by other City Departments’ administrative staff which includes, but is not limited to: the School Department, the Barron Center, the Social Services Division, the Fire Department, the Public Assembly Facilities Department, the Police Department, Aviation and Transportation (which includes the Portland International Jetport), or, in an emergency, the Public Building's Maintenance Shop Coordinator. The contractor(s) shall be prepared to furnish all tools and/or equipment necessary to perform the necessary work. Any travel time, if applicable, shall be included as part of the rates submitted. The services of the mechanical company may be required at any time within the City and for its buildings.
