Perform suitability test on the concrete slab including relative humidity and alkalinity potential hydrogen (pH) tests. Remove existing floor materials and coatings. Profile concrete to material adherence roughness specification, or International Concrete Repair Institute Concrete Surface Profile (ICRI CSP) 3-5 if not otherwise specified. Apply Class 1 moisture vapor barrier epoxy at 20 mils Wet Film Thickness (WFT), or as recommended by manufacturer. Broadcast flakes on floor and 1 block vertically on the walls uniformly. Shear off excess flakes. Apply UV-stable polyaspartic clear coat with slip-reduction agent at 10-12 mils Dry Film Thickness (DFT), or as recommended by manufacturer. Apply stain, chemical and wearresistant urethane coating with slip-reduction agent at 6-8 mils WFT, or as recommended by manufacturer.
