A. Remove old countertop and cabinets, dispose of properly. B. Remove 4” cove base to finish walls and install new cove base, dispose of properly. C. Remove sheet rock off both walls that will have ballistic panels installed on them. D. Remove drop down metal curtain, dispose of properly. (not part of the fire system). E. Frame partition for new 3.0 ballistic door and frame ballistic glass transaction window, keep frame down approximately 6 inches below ceiling for air flow. Open ceiling and secure partition framing to roof framing. F. Install new ADA accessible cabinets and countertop at secure side. Custom fabricated to WI/AWI Woodwork Standards. Frameless, Type 1, flush overlay drawers with shelves and seismic anchorage. NEMA LD3 plastic laminate grade: HGS or HGL countertop, VGS exposed vertical surfaces. Laminate selected by Area Commander from full range of patterns and colors. 30” countertop. Satin anodized aluminum wire pulls. G. Install electronic latch release for ballistic door, with remote and attach wired release button under countertop. Conceal wiring. Keypad access at public side. (if needed). H. Install duplex outlet and duplex data receptacles in partition at knee space. Provide wire management grommet at countertop. I. Hang new U.L. 752 certified ballistic 7/16, 4X8 panels on both existing and new lobby framing. J. Hang new 1/2” sheet rock over ballistic panels, and secure side of new partition. Tape, mud, texture and paint to match existing lobby color. K. Trim out partition ceiling supports and edges, then patch and paint ceiling to best match existing color. L. Install new level 3 ballistic glass window and frame at reception wall. Standard Inset Aluminum Frame, C. R. Laurence Model No. N1SWA with one UL 752 level 3 protection 11” wide X 8 ¼ inch deep stainless-steel deal tray at center, 18” deep shelf extends through at center or approved equal. Provide fabrication drawing. Laminate to match countertop. Align head of window with top of door. M. Install new ADA compatible level 3 door and frame at reception wall. C. R. Laurence Model No. BRDRV3 with UL 752 level 3 vision panel. Install ADA compatible satin anodized aluminum finish closure and lever lockset keyed to building standard. N. Furnish all new framing materials to support the transaction window and door as necessary. O. Install ballistic window film on front and side windows of the front office. Minimum eight (8) millimeter, clear, manufacture’s edge retention system. P. Paint to match existing lobby color. Q. Patch carpet and tile where lobby cabinet was removed to match existing or replace with contrast color, determined by Area Commander. R. Install new stained oak trim around both sides of new ballistic transaction window and door on interior side. S. Contractor will ensure that the work area is kept clean and free of debris, as necessary, to maintain a safe working environment for staff. T. Remove all debris, including packaging material off-site on a daily basis. U. Contractor shall warranty all work, labor, and material for a period of one (1) year.
