The broom shall be two-wheeled, capable of sweeping either right, left, or center and shall have hydraulic power to lift the brush for transport and to rotate the brush right or left. HYDRAULICS - The broom shall have complete hydraulic power equipment including two torque motors for driving the brush. The supplied hydraulics will be designed for a closed center hydraulic system and shall be capable of hooking up to the towing vehicle so the broom may be operated from the cab, including the hydraulic hoses necessary for attaching supply lines to the rear of the towing vehicle. The hydraulic system shall be designed to operate effectively at a maximum of 2500 P.S.I. working pressure. Hydraulic systems designed to operate at a pressure above 2500 P.S.I. will not be acceptable. Broom to operate effectively at 1800 P.S.I. minimum – 2500 P.S.I. maximum and 25-35 gpm flow range. HYDRAULIC POWER ANGLE - The broom will have power angle to rotate the brush right and left 30 degrees with heavy-duty 2 ½” diameter bore, double action with a minimum of 7.5” travel hydraulic cylinder.
