1. Equipment and personnel must be available on a two-hour call basis. Bidders are required to furnish all necessary telephone numbers to the Town of Southington for call-in purposes. 2. The equipment used to clear the school access walks shall be limited to skid steer loader with snow blowers and walk-behind snow blowers. Skid steermounted snow blowers shall be 48” in width and walk-behind blowers shall be a minimum of 10 hp, 24” in width, and commercial grade. The areas in which the equipment is used will be determined by the Assistant Superintendent of Highway/Parks. Trucks to be used for sanding of walkways are to be no smaller than a ¾ ton pick-up. 3. The cost of equipment mentioned above includes operators who must be qualified, competent, and reliable. 4. If the lower bidder is unable to supply equipment at any time, the Town will go to the second or succeeding bidder on the list. 5.
