The contractor will be required to perform various welding assignments as needed to State Highway Administration equipment, facilities, and along State Highways in Queen Anne’s County, MD. The welder must be certified with a minimum of five years experience. The contractor must be able to repair, modify or fabricate snowplows, plow push frames, steel or stainless steel salt spreader boxes and aluminum or steel dump bodies. The contractor must own his own equipment and be able to respond in adverse weather conditions. The contractor will be required to provide his own welding rods, spools, gasses, torches and other supplies needed to complete the work. The vendor must be able to be mobile to come to any facility or location owned by State Highway Administration within Queen Anne’s County.
