The City of Springfield recognizes the importance of vibrant and walkable communities and through its’ Office of Community Development seeks the services of a qualified and experienced vendor to undertake holiday lighting and decoration installations in targeted areas along the Springfield Main Street corridor. The intent of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to have a successful vendor enter into an Agreement with the City for the desired services. The term of the initial Agreement shall be for the 2024, 2025 and 2026 holiday seasons. The selected vendor will use creative ideas and concepts to ensure cohesiveness in the holiday theme and design of all lights and decorations in all areas designated by City in this RFP. The City of Springfield is seeking a qualified vendor that will design and provide decorative holiday lighting displays and American flag décor displays along the Main Street corridor with a focus on Memorial Square, Metro Center, South End and the Memorial Bridge.
