Vendor will provide carpentry services, repairs, replacements, and minor alterations to interior and exterior overhead doors and rolling gates at the East Moline Correctional Center. Vendor and/or qualified technicians shall have valid certifications, knowledge, and expertise to provide service. Vendor will furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment of the trade, related to providing the services in this contract. The Vendor shall make repairs and perform preventative maintenance as requested to do so by the Chief Engineer or appointed designee. All service work and parts must be preapproved prior to services being performed. Materials and products shall be furnished at the Vendor’s cost. Vendor shall provide copies of material suppliers’ invoices to verify cost. Vendor shall supply all necessary items needed to perform the scope of this contract and shall not use any State property such as tools, equipment, ladders, lift equipment, extension cords, etc. to perform any work under this contract. When on-site, all equipment, materials, and supplies shall be stored and handled in a manner approved by the Chief Engineer, or designee, meeting State and Federal requirements on Fire and Safety precautions.
