a. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, herein referred to as LVMPD , seeks proposals in response to this Request for Proposal (RFP) to establish a contract to provide secure and accurate webbased transcription and translation services. b. The LVMPD seeks to accomplish the following goals: i. Obtain a confidential, secure and quality controlled system for timely and cost-effective Artificial Intelligence (AI) transcription and translation services. ii. Provide transcription services in English, Spanish, or other languages as requested, 24 hours a day, 365 days per year with the utmost level of experience and expertise. iii. Reduce the amount of time LVMPD staff spend on transcribing digital recordings and translating documents. iv. Ensure modern technology is used to better serve the LVMPD staff by offering a secure webbased transcription management system for the transfer of digital recordings and transcription retrieval. v. Maintain an online management inquiry and reporting system that enables designated Contract users to separately track status of transcription requests and obtain reports.
