3.1.1 On-Call Temporary Traffic Control Services are to be defined as unplanned events occurring at any time of the day, including weekends and holidays. 3.1.2 For these emergency services, the Contractor shall be at the location associated with the request for service, with temporary traffic control devices on-hand, no more than ninety (90) minutes upon receipt of the phone call requesting service. 3.1.3 Only On-Call Services are included with this bid. 3.1.4 Examples of On-Call Services include, but are not limited to, traffic crashes, hazardous spills, fires, police incidents, water main breaks, and natural disasters. 3.1.5 The City of Lincoln intends to select one (1) Vendor to provide On-Call Services as part of this effort. In the event a single Vendor is unable to perform all duties as assigned by the City according to the bid documents, or due to other emergency situations, the City reserves the right to hire another company to perform these services. 3.1.6 Typical projects and/or work to be performed under this contract will consist of deploying temporary traffic control setouts for unplanned events, as requested. 3.1.7 The successful Contractor will be contacted for each unplanned event to provide services according to the unit prices submitted with this response, as well as a lump sum mobilization rate determined at the time of the service request. 3.1.8 Mobilization expenses on individual project requests will not be limited as per the City of Lincoln Standard Specifications.
