Scope of Work consists of development, management, and promotion of a web-based resource finder tool to expand access to information and services through the Advocacy, Education and Outreach Section (AEOS) programs which include, but are not limited to: • Hawaii State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) educates and empowers Medicare beneficiaries, their families, caregivers, and soon-to-be retirees to make cost-effective, informed healthcare decisions based on their own individual health needs and ability to pay. • Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program (LTCOP) advocates to improve the quality of care and quality of life for residents in licensed and certified long-term care (LTC) settings such as nursing homes, expanded and adult residential care homes, community care foster family homes, and assisted living facilities. • Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) Hawaii educates Medicare beneficiaries to protect their personal identity and information, detect medical billing discrepancies, and report suspected fraud to the U.S. Office of Inspector General.
