MassDOT intends to enter into an agreement with FlashParking Inc. to continue to supply a parking solution, related equipment, maintenance and support as outlined in the attached quote. FlashParking provides a cash machine and network kit with RFID reader and BLE Technology, Magnetic Gate and Barrier, Cashier Kit and Software License, and has been utilized since 7/13/2021 at City Place Garage, 40 Charles St South, Boston MA 02116. This initial agreement will be for five years and may be extended for the purpose of receiving service, maintenance and/or support or to procure additional related equipment. This type of agreement provides best value for the Commonwealth because this is a proprietary product and replacing this system would incur additional costs.
