1. Pick up Container and Deliver to Storage Facility 2. Off load contents (pallets of GAC) into the warehouse 3. Provide covered and fully enclosed warehouse storage for 1000 pound bags Granulated Activated Charcoal (GAC). 4. Pick up pallets from warehouse and deliver to BWS GAC facilities. 5. See Attachment A for Material Handling Guidelines Storage must protect bags from weather, rodents, and insects o There will be GAC shipments from three (3) different suppliers. o Contractor must keep the GAC received sorted and segregated by supplier and shall mark each individual bag with a paint marking (water soluble acrylic paint) to indicate the supplier and date received. o Bags/pallets shall be arranged/separated in storage by Supplier and be able to be withdrawn from storage with a First in/First out queing. o Contractor shall place an individual hood over each bag using 3mil heavy duty trash bags 115”L x 45” x 45” o Contractor shall crisscross bags with shrink wrap to secure bags to the pallet.
