The objective is for one selected consultant to provide wastewater engineering design and permitting services in order to develop a set of construction plans and bid documents. The selected engineering consultant will provide design drawings for the construction of said project. Engineering services shall include, but not be limited to: Topographic and boundary services; Geotechnical analysis, hydraulic and hydrogeologic modeling; Civil, structural, electrical, and automation design services; Survey Mapping, a sketch, and descriptions for any easements/right-of-way acquisitions; Wastewater pump station siting; preliminary collection system layout; existing road/utilities base map (If needed); Permits, technical memorandum of recommended pipe sizes and pumps; A technical memorandum summarizing an environmental assessment along with a Florida Land Use Cover and Forms Classification (FLUCFCS) map; Preparation of construction documents including construction plans and specifications. Plans and specifications will be submitted in 60%, 90%, and 100% formats to Hendry County for review and comment; The Consultant will provide paper copies of signed and sealed construction plans and a jump/thumb drive containing all electronic drawing files. The County will require 24x36 paper size for all printed plan set submittals. Electronic drawing files will be produced in a manner suitable to Hendry County using state plane coordinates with a logical layering and layer naming convention.
