Required Maintenance Service • The City’s fire sprinkler systems should be maintained to the standards dictated in the current adopted edition of codes and standards from National Fire Protection Association 25. • All materials, tools, labor, and equipment should be supplied by the company unless otherwise noted. • All wet sprinkler systems should be drained and refilled annually. • If any maintenance issues or repairs are discovered during the inspection or throughout the year, service calls are to be made to the company. o The City will negotiate the cost of repairs at the time of need. • Sprinkler system backflow preventer inspection and maintenance should also be conducted at each location on an annual basis for all wet systems. • Fire hydrants are not included. • All maintenance inspections and work must be scheduled with an authorized member of the City staff.
