The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) is providing a Notice of Intent to enter into an agreement to provide grant funding for municipal fire-based ambulance services in the towns of: Ayer, Groton, Harvard, Littleton, Pepperell, Shirley, Townsend. Additionally, this funding will be provided to the regional enterprise zone fire-based ambulance service in: Devens. DPH is seeking to enter contracts with eligible municipalities and the regional enterprise zone for one-time funding to make capital investments to acquire and upgrade ambulances and emergency medical vehicles, emergency medical equipment, life support devices, and related maintenance equipment, and to support training costs and other capital expenses associated with EMS infrastructure.
