The Kansas Department of Corrections (KDOC) is seeking a contract for a 30-passenger prison transportation buses. These buses will be used to transport inmates of every custody level between prisons across the state. Currently, KDOC buses are accumulating between 20,000 and 80,000 miles annually. Some of the agency’s buses have exceeded 300,000 miles and continued use of these buses presents a security and public safety issue. Specifications 1.
