Contractor Shall Be Responsible For: Provide Services five (5) days per week four (4) hours each day Provide 24 hour on call service and maintain 24-hour emergency and non- emergency responses service Ensuring that such personnel are properly qualified and, when necessary, possess such licenses of certifications as may be required; Ensure all employees are safety trained. Personnel must hold current certificates as B or higher Water Operator and B or higher Water Distribution Under minimal supervision will operate the water wells supply, elevated water tank and chemical feed systems All systems shall be operated in accordance with established guidelines (Federal EPA and State SCDES) guidelines, regulations, standards, and rules Ensure the quality of drinking water meets NPDES and South Carolina Department of Environmental Services (SCDES) formerly South Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) permit requirements. The position will provide routine daily analysis for water quality assurance as required by the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services (SCDES) formerly South Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) Preparation of various reporting forms and documents correcting abnormal water conditions utilizing chemical or mechanical adjustments. Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program Provision of all supplies required for usual testing and cleaning, of establishment of all required records and data. SCDC Shall Provide: SCDC is responsible for cost of maintenance (repairs to equipment, motors, pumps etc.) For after-hours call SCDC will be responsible for any/ all material needed SCDC will be responsible for any special equipment needed above the normal use equipment Pay lab directly for all regular and special samples as required by SCDES/ EPA Pay lab directly for analysis performed by the contract lab that is a SC Certified lab of their choosing All line work, installation, connections, and repairs Payment for all utilities Grass cutting
