MAINTENANCE, RECALLS AND REPAIRS: The Contractor is responsible for maintaining all vehicles and equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule. The Contractor will perform a thorough inspection of all vehicles and equipment during each visit to their facility. The inspection performed should identify in writing any current problems, potential future problems and the repairs necessary to address any issue(s). The Contractor’s inspection shall include all interior and exterior components, both mechanical and electrical, to ensure proper functionality. The Contractor, if applicable, is responsible for performing all recalls in accordance with the manufacturer’s procedures and to the manufacturer’s specifications. UNSCHEDULED REPAIRS: The Contractor is responsible for completing repairs in a manner that restores the vehicle or equipment back to the OEM specifications. The Contractor, upon approval by SFM, may use aftermarket, or used parts to successfully complete repairs. Aftermarket, or used parts must be of equal quality relating to specification and performance to the part it replaces.
