The Pump Contractor will employ an effective and efficient approach to pump removal. The pump and associated components will be stored in a sanitary manner, once removed from the well. While the pump is removed from the well, OWRD will perform a geophysical survey with OWRD equipment. These tests may have a duration up to 10 hours. The Pump Contractor is not required to be onsite during the geophysical survey. Once the geophysical survey is complete, the Pump Contractor will replace the pump to the same specifications as originally installed. At the property owners’ request, the Pump Contractor may perform any requested repairs or maintenance on the pumps while removed from the well, provided such work does not interfere with the Project schedule or outcomes. Any additional pump maintenance or repair work performed will be at the cost of the well owner. Details of any additional pump work will be coordinated directly between the Pump Contractor and the property owner, separate from the Project.
