Orange County Fire Rescue is seeking proposals for a stand-alone, locally operated Incident Command Simulator for use in new hire, promotional, and recurrent training. The simulator program must be portable, supporting multiple workstations to allow participation from several users simultaneously. The vendor must provide all necessary hardware. Key requirements include: • A fully customizable scenario library, tailored to reflect Orange County Fire Rescue's apparatus, environment, and tactics. • Integration for all ranks, with scenarios encompassing both Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Pump Operations training. • The Pump Operations Simulator must replicate the pump panel currently in use on Orange County Fire Rescue apparatus. • Virtual Reality (VR) capabilities that allow users to fully immerse themselves within the scenario for enhanced realism and training effectiveness. • Responsive and efficient customer service to support the needs of a large department and addressing issues promptly as they arise. • Comprehensive staff training on how to operate and maintain the simulator, ensuring seamless integration into existing training programs.
