25.1. 36” Traffic Cone Specification – 12 lb. base 25.2. Style: 25.2.1. Cone Dimensions and Style shall match drawings – Tip shall be flat, not concave. 25.3. Size: 25.3.1. 36” (+/- ¼”) 25.3.2. Base shall be square and have a dimension of 15“(+/- ¼”) on each side. 25.3.3. Outside diameter at the top of cone shall be 2 1/2” (+/- ¼”). 25.3.4. Outside diameter of the cone at the base shall be 10.5” (+/- ¼”). 25.4. Color: 25.4.1. Fluorescent orange (cone and base) 25.5. Type: 25.5.1. Polyvinyl chloride, UV stabilized, molded in one piece or the upper conical portion shall be permanently fused and joined to the base section forming one integral unit. 25.5.2. The cone must be self-supporting up to 125 degrees Fahrenheit. 25.5.3. The cone, when placed in its normal position on a flat surface and folded at a point near the middle of its vertical height so that the upper tip touches the surface on which the base is resting will return to its original vertical position within 20 seconds. This test will be done at ambient room temperature. 25.5.4. Must meet MUTCD and NCHRP-350 Requirements and vendor must supply State of New Hampshire with proof via documentation. 25.6. Base: 25.6.1. Base shall be weighted to provide a low center of gravity for stability. The weight of the base shall be at least 60 percent of the total weight of the cone. 25.7. Weight: 25.7.1. The complete unit (base and cone) shall have a minimum weight of 12 pounds (+/- ½ lb.).
