1. Furnish a totally native BACnet-based system. The building controllers, application controllers, and input/output devices shall communicate using the protocols and network standards as defined by ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 135-2008, BACnet. In other words, workstations and controllers, including unitary controllers, shall be native BACnet devices. No gateways shall be used for communication to controllers installed under this section. Gateways may be used for communication to existing systems or to systems installed under other sections. 2. Provide necessary BACnet-compliant hardware and software to meet the system's functional specifications. Provide Protocol Implementation Conformance Statement (PICS) for Windows-based control software and every controller in system, including unitary controllers. 3. Prepare individual hardware layouts, interconnection drawings, and software configuration from project design data. 4. Implement the detailed design for analog and binary objects, system databases, graphic displays, logs, and management reports based on control descriptions, logic drawings, configuration data, and bid documents. 5. Design, provide, and install equipment cabinets, panels, data communication network cables needed, and associated hardware. 6. Provide and install interconnecting cables between supplied cabinets, application controllers, and input/output devices. 7. Provide and install interconnecting cables between operator's terminals and peripheral devices supplied under this section. 8. Provide complete manufacturer's specifications for items that are supplied. Include vendor name of every item supplied. 9. Provide supervisory specialists and technicians at the job site to assist in phases of system installation, startup, and commissioning. 10. Provide comprehensive operator and technician training program as described herein. 11. Provide as-built documentation, operator's terminal software, diagrams, and other associated project operational documentation (such as technical manuals) on approved media, the sum total of which accurately represents the final system.
