The primary deliverables and focus for the TMP update include the following: • Robust Public Involvement • Review recently approved General Plan requirements • Stakeholder and Regional Partner Engagement • Evaluating Current Socioeconomic Conditions • Current Transportation Network Conditions and Future Needs • Conducting a Full Multimodal Transportation Assessment • Integration of Previously Completed and Concurrent Plans • Developing and Calibrating a New Citywide Sub-Regional Traffic Demand Forecast Model • Prioritizing Current and Future Transportation Network Needs • Identifying Potential Funding Opportunities • Identifying Prioritized Recommended Investment Choices • Final Plan • City Intends to have the final Master Plan completed within 12- 18 months of executed contract date. Tasks: Project Administration A. Ongoing Project Management 1. Project Manager a. The City of Surprise City Traffic Engineer will be the City’s Project Manager for the TMP 2. Project Working Group a. A core project management group will be developed from within the City of Surprise staff along with the consultant team and shall meet on as need basis or as further determined at the project kick-off meeting. For budgeting purposes allocate time for fifteen (15) meetings. B. Project Initiation 1. Kick-off meeting i. Review of Scope, Roles, Responsibilities, and Goals of the TMP ii. Gather input from the City Council iii. Stakeholders, Regional Partners I.
