A. The Return Fan Manufacturer’s work shall include, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Furnish a complete set of submittals as described hereinafter. 2. Provide stackable direct drive planum fans on shrink-wrapped pallets for field assembly in the mechanical room by the installing contractor. The units shall be factory-assembled and tested prior to shipment. Each unit shall be shipped with assembly instructions. 3. Provide a factory-authorized service representative employed by the fan Manufacturer to respond to any contractor questions regarding installation. 4. Start-up of the units and Owner training shall be included in the vendor’s bid as identified in the schedule. 5. Provide Owner's Manual, complete operating instructions. The Owner’s Manual shall be provided to each the Owner and the installing contractor. B. The installing contractor, as determined by subsequent installation contract, shall provide the following: 1. Inspect the return air fan unit sections prior to transporting the sections to the job site. 2. Transport the return fans from the storage facility to the Project site. 3. Installing contractor shall move the return fan sections into the respective mechanical room. 4. Return fans shall be protected during transportation and movement into the respective mechanical room. 5. The Owner shall inspect the return fans upon delivery. The Owner shall notify the trucking company, Manufacturer, and Engineer of any shipping damage immediately upon receipt of the return fans.
