Use Statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Excel) to visualize data. 3. Provide insights into trends within the corrections system and recommend improvements based on data. B. Provide Program Evaluation 1. Analyze the effectiveness of existing programs (e.g.,rehabilitation, education, reentry initiatives) within the department. 2. Develop metrics to measure the success of correctional programs. 3. Conduct longitudinal studies on inmate outcomes, including post-release integrations. C. Provide Research and Reporting 1. Prepare detailed reports and present finding to department leadership, policy makers or external stakeholders. 2. Stay updated on relevant state and national correctional policies and trends. 3. Conduct literature reviews and compile best practices in corrections and rehabilitation. D. Provide Policy Development Support 1. Provide data-driven recommendation to inform department policies. 2. Analyze the impact of new policies or laws on correctional facilities and operations. E. Provide collaboration 1. Work closely with various units within the department (e.g., rehabilitation, security, and mental health services). 2. Partner with academic institutions of research organizations for collaborative studies.
