Task 1 – Project Management: 1. The Contractor shall coordinate and attend construction observation, and special, substantial, and final inspection with the Design Engineer and the VSW project manager (PM). 2. The Contractor shall prepare, complete, and submit design clarification and variation requests (DCVR), change or substitution requests and submittals to the design engineer and the VSW PM. 3. The Contractor shall develop a Project Management Plan, which identifies Work Packages (deliverables) for the Project Scope. Budget, cost estimates, schedule and quality assurance/quality control shall be developed and monitored for the Work Packages. 4. The Contractor shall collaborate with VSW in order to execute the project including: a. Filling unskilled and skilled labor positions with community residents if available as required to complete the work, including assistance with developing work descriptions and qualifications. 5. The Contractor shall prioritize, develop, and monitor project work sequence, duration, and schedule in collaboration with the Department and stakeholders. 6. The Contractor shall facilitate a weekly construction planning meeting. The Contractor shall invite the Design Engineer, the Superintendent, the VSW PM, and designated representative from the City or Tribal entity Manager). Meeting agendas shall include: a. Completed deliverables and deliverables that have been initiated and are in progress; b. Any issues or challenges; c. Work planned for the coming week; d. Upcoming inspections and commissioning that require the design engineer, or other necessary coordination. 7. Contractor shall provide a written monthly status report. The report is due by the 10th of the month with the Contractor billing for services. The report shall address: a. Deliverables completed and work in progress; b. Issues and challenges which may compromise budget, schedule, or quality; c. Estimated budget and cost by work package. 8. The Contractor shall conduct regular site visits to observe and monitor activities on the job site, construction safety, quality of ongoing work, condition and morale of the crew, and local stakeholder (operator and resident) satisfaction. The Contractor shall plan on traveling to, and being on the job site, for up to 5 days per month during the course of construction, depending on the complexity of the work underway,
