Specifications include, but are not limited to: a qualified supplier who will provide an Advanced Transportation Management System to the Department of Transportation; The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is seeking to implement a commercially-available Advanced Transportation Management System (ATMS). ATMS operations within Georgia are managed from the Transportation Management Center (TMC) in Atlanta, from other facilities, and remotely from individual user desktops or laptops. Contractor shall provide a Project Management Plan, explaining how offeror will effectively manage the implementation and deployment of the ATMS. The plan shall start with Notice to Proceed (NTP) and end with full acceptance of the system and call out the milestones to be achieved along the way. The system shall be an on-premise commercial solution with professional services to configure the solution to meet GDOT business requirements. Hybrid solutions hosted on GDOT owned Azure and AWS tenants can be proposed. Contractor hosted cloud-based options are not to be submitted for GDOT consideration. The system shall support Microsoft Edge, Chrome browsers and mobile capabilities. Web solutions should not require proprietary plug-ins or applets to function.
