3.1. Return of Agency Property: All materials/files provided to the Successful Vendor remain the property of the South Carolina Department of Public Health and must be returned at completion of the project. The successful vendor will contact DPH Creative Services directly for files. Contact information will be supplied with the purchase order. 3.2. Quality: All furnished materials must display the highest print-quality characteristics. Typefaces must be crisp and sharp as approved by the Agency Representative during the proofing process. Color must remain accurate and consistent throughout production. Completed materials must have consistent design elements, such as perforations, folds, and die-cuts. 3.3. Item Detail: Printing of 53,900 Food Guide booklets (ML-00019). 3.3.1. Substitutions to the printing specifications will not be acceptable with this project. 3.3.2. Four (4) color process 3.3.3. The final size must be 8’’ x 8’’ and have a stapled spine (saddle stitch). 3.4. Modifications: Any modification must have prior written approval from the Procurement Officer before proceeding with any project. 3.5. Overruns/underruns: Overruns and underruns will be based on the quantity ordered and shall not exceed 2.5% 3.6. Proof: A pre-production, color match proof is mandatory, at no additional cost to DPH. 3.6.1. The cost for this proof must be included in the unit price. 3.7. Packaging: Booklets must be packaged in its own box(es) and labeled outside appropriately on top and side.
