A. The contractor will provide a pool cover made of a durable, safety mesh like material, such as canvas (loop loc), which can withstand Connecticut winter weather patterns and seasonal changes. B. The cover we be constructed with the following specifications: o Cover will meet or exceed ASTM F1346-23 Standard Performance Specification for Safety Covers. o Cover must be hooked to deck style anchoring o Straps will be no less than 1" wide and be spaced no more than three feet apart in grid style pattern. Straps will run on top and bottom of safety mesh and be stitched together. Straps will also utilize D shape buckles for fastening springs o Spring shall be #304 Stainless steel and have vinyl covers 0 Cover must have abrasion resistant pads to protect cover from wear at its contact points with pool decking o Color will be blue or green C. Additionally, the contractor will be responsible for: o installing new rustproof brass anchors that recess flush with pool deck o Removing old brass anchors and repairing holes in pool deck o One time installation to ensure fit
