A. Install one (1) new commercial grade evaporative cooler unit including parts, fittings. Contractor shall provide electrical and water for use by evaporative cooler, sealing penetration points through roof. Control for unit will be mounted on wall in auto bay within reach of staff. B. Contractor shall cut hole in roof, install curb, and mount unit, and install duct on interior side. Curb will be wrapped with like material of roof to ensure against water intrusion. C. Contractor shall plumb overflow/drain to nearest roof drain or gutter. D. Where applicable, Contractor is to seek any public utility rebates and pass the cost savings on to the California Highway Patrol. E. Contractor shall start-up and test unit to ensure proper operation and to make any adjustments needed. F. Contractor shall provide on-site training to CHP staff on the operation and functions of the newly installed evaporative cooler. G. Contractor shall provide two copies of Operation and Maintenance Manuals to the CHP on-site contact. H. Contractor is responsible for obtaining any permits required for the installation of the evaporative cooler. I. Contractor shall remove all debris, including packaging materials from the jobsite on a daily basis. J. Contractor shall warranty work for a period of one (1) year after installation and provide manufacturer’s warranty on equipment installed.
