A. The Contractor shall service fire extinguishers in the quantities and locations as directed by the Authority. Services shall include, but not be limited to, inspection and assessment to determine the type of service one (1), six (6) year maintenance or twelve (12) year maintenance where applicable. As a standard requirement, all fire extinguishers will require a one (1) year service maintenance inspection. B. The Contractor shall contact the Manager of Building Maintenance or designee , will identify the fire extinguishers, including type, and quantity, at the facility requiring maintenance. The Contractor will schedule appropriate maintenance of the fire extinguishers and fire suppression systems identified (if fire extinguishers/fire suppression systems are to be serviced on MARTA’s property) or to pick up of fire extinguishers (if fire extinguishers are to be serviced at the Contractor's location - Hydrostatic Testing Only). C. The Contractor shall provide fully functioning replacement fire extinguishers of equal capability for those fire extinguishers that are removed from the Authority's property requiring off-site hydrostatic testing.
