The contractor shall supply an internally secured total ornamental aluminum fencing system of the Ameristar Echelon II Majestic (See Attached Drawings and Tables). The system shall include all components and appurtenances (i.e., pickets, posts, rails, and hardware) required. A. Panels shall be two (2) rails, eight (8) feet long, and four (4) feet high. B. Panels shall have a standard bottom. C. Aluminum extrusions for posts and rails shall be Alloy and Temper Designation 6005- T5. D. Aluminum extrusions for pickets shall be Alloy and Temper Designation 6063-T52. E. Manufactured framework shall be subjected to a thermal stratification coating process including, as a minimum, a six-stage pretreatment/wash, and an electrostatic spray application of a polyester finish. The topcoat shall be a “no-mar” TGIC polyester powder coat finish with a minimum thickness of 2 mils. F. Posts and caps are to be square. G. Bracket to rail attachments shall be made using specially designed one-way tamperproof security nuts with carriage bolt. Bracket to post connections shall be made using self-drilling hex-head screws. H. Aluminum castings shall be used for all rings, post caps, finials, and miscellaneous adornments. I. Pickets, rails, and posts shall be pre-cut to specified lengths. Forerunner rails shall be pre-punched to accept pickets.
