Three (3) exposed front rails, internal stretcher and rear rail to be minimum of 2” wide red oak with hardwood core. All rails will be assembled with pre-glued spiral grooved dowels with toe-boring on each end. Must fit under bed. All cabinet sides, rails and drawer parts must be fully finished with UV Cured Resin via flat line system prior to assembly on each face. All side panels to be ¾” solid red oak per hardwood definition in RFB. Tops are secured using six (6) steel brackets. Two (2) Drawer/stackable, overall Dimensions to be 24”d x 30”w 20”h. Drawers to be equal size. Bottom cross rails to be in horizontal plane. The dresser must have provisions to stack with another similar unit without hardware. Bidder must provide full details of stacking method with bid. Tops are secured using six (6) steel brackets. Meets the following specifications as defined in this RFB: Hardwood, Glues/Adhesives, Cabinets and Bookcases, Cross Rails, Drawer Boxes, Drawer Slides, Laminated Tops, Backs, Dowels, Assembly and joinery, Finish, and Testing per definition of the RFB. B. Bed: All bed ends must be identical. Bed end to be manufactured for adjustable sleeping surface without use of bolts and nuts unless otherwise specified. No exposed hardware. Sample to be approved. Bed ends must be made to accept an existing metal spring unit and stack with existing bed end as per current University standard and made to accommodate a 36" x 80" institutional mattress. Must be stackable & adjustable with a minimum of nine (9) levels and integrate with current University standard. Stacking Pins: Cold Roll Steel, 3/8” diameter x 3” length. Steel Ferrule: Knurled and 1-1/2” long. Meets the following specifications as defined in this RFB: Glue/Adhesive, Bunk Bed Hook-Lock Post, Bed Rails, Sinuous Spring Unit, and Finish per definition of the RFB.
