Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.11.1 ODOC will only accept pails/tubs, not to exceed 5 gallons per container 4.11.1.1 Handles must be plastic 4.11.2 ODOC will NOT accept glass containers 4.11.3 SPECIFICATIONS FOR PICKLES, SLICED 4.11.3.1 Goods must meet minimum US Standards for Grades of Pickles; Per US Standards, Goods may be Style c – sliced lengthwise; or d – sliced crosswise, crosscut, or waffle cut. Pack type: a – cured; 1 – dill pickles (natural or genuine); 2 – dill pickles (processed); or 4 – sweet pickles and mild sweet pickles. Minimum fill of product per container to be no less than 55% drained weight. The product and packing medium should occupy not less than 90 percent of the total capacity of the container. Goods ingredients must be grade A or B. If sliced, minimum to be 1/8” thickness
