The selected architectural firm will be responsible for: 1. Preliminary Research & Needs Assessment a. Conducting a comprehensive needs analysis based on current and future operational requirements. b. Engaging with fire department and city staff to ensure all aspects of fire, police, and emergency management operations are addressed. 2. Design & Development a. Designing a functional and aesthetically appropriate facility that aligns with modern public safety standards. b. Integrating sustainable and resilient building practices, including LEED certification, where applicable. c. Providing detailed design and architectural plans for approval 3. Project Management & Coordination a. Coordinating with city officials, engineering firms, and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle. b. Ensuring timely delivery of all project phases. 4. Cost Estimation & Budgeting a. Developing and managing a cost-effective budget that aligns with city financial constraints.
