Proposers shall demonstrate the ability to provide routine preventive maintenance (PM) and repair services for an estimated 30-100 vehicles with growth potential commensurate with the Program's need and within the garage's capacity to perform maintenance and repairs and to store the necessary service loaner vehicles, as needed. In addition, Contractor is responsible for shuttling vehicles to warranty dealers and body shops as scheduled and needed. For cost and service efficiencies, the Program prefers a single Contractor who can perform all maintenance and repair services. However, if necessary, Contractor may subcontract specialty work to subcontractors who the Program has approved. The Contractor shall be responsible for all costs associated with doing business with its direct subcontractors unless otherwise mutually agreed. All agreed-upon contract pricing must carry over for all subcontracted work. As a result, the Contractor must include any additional costs associated with the subcontracting process in their price sheet for evaluation and any associated invoices for services. In addition, the Contractor is responsible for managing and paying its subcontractors directly. Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining complete vehicle maintenance records, including any subcontracted and/or warranty work for all vehicles while assigned to or worked on by their shop. In addition, vehicle history records must be made available to Program staff upon request.
