1. This project consists of asbestos abatement and remediation of hazardous materials to prepare the Blanton Nason Brewer (BNB) Annex and McKinney (MK) building for demolition by others. The contractor shall visit the site of the proposed work and thoroughly familiarize himself with the location, the operating conditions and the conditions he or she will encounter affecting the proposed work. No additional allowance will be granted because of the lack of knowledge of such conditions. The selected contractor shall conform to all requirements of these specifications and drawings. The drawings provided are not to scale, not as-built, and all areas are to be verified in the field. 2. The contractor is responsible for verification of the quantities and locations of all asbestos containing materials.
