This project will abate and demolish the UT Warehouse on Stephenson Drive and construct a new parking lot in its place. Includes all related work to complete the project. Abatement and demolition of the UT (Fleming) Warehouse, leaving the concrete slab. Construction of a new parking lot encompassing the building footprint and surrounding area. Provide slab treatment to lessen the dangers of smooth concrete for parking purposes. Provide for stormwater drainage, lighting, islands for traffic direction and low maintenance landscaping of said islands. For the entrance area only, landscape with irrigation. Parking lot parameters are shown in the attached Stephenson Drive Fleming Parking Lot Conceptual Drawing. Project Limitations: Requests for utility outages require a 14-day minimum advance notice. Access to mechanical, electrical, communication, and other utility spaces require coordination by UTK Facilities Services.
