Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY THAT NO PERSONS ARE IN THE HOUSE PRIOR TO COMMENCING DEMOLITION WORK. IF ANY PERSONS ARE PRESENT, CONTRACTOR SHALL CONTACT THE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT IMMEDIATELY. 2. If any vehicles are present, the City shall have them removed prior to demolition activities. 3. Demolish the existing house. 4. Remove all private sidewalks, patios and concrete slabs. 5. *Remove and properly dispose of all rubbish, brush and debris located on the lot and in, and around, the buildings. 6. *Remove all trees and vegetation around perimeter of the foundation of house. 7. *Break apart all foundation parts for all buildings. Clean brick or concrete can be used to fill the basement of the house. All other must be removed. 8. *Demolition debris shall be disposed of in accordance with all applicable ordinances, statutes and regulations both state and federal, including but not limited to the IEPA, and EPA regulations which pertain to the manner of demolition and type of refuse as well as the type of structure being demolished. All waste material shall be disposed of off-site. Weigh tickets for dumping of the debris at a lawful site shall be provided. No demolition debris shall be deposited at the Kewanee Solid Waste Transfer Station.
