a. Be thoroughly knowledgeable about Illinois and Federal law pertaining to labor practices, and union rules and the full range of employment law; b. Represent the interests of CHA management during contract negotiations, grievance and arbitration proceedings and draft appropriate agreements and documents in employment matters; c. Coordinate negotiations with the CHA’s Office of the General Counsel, the Chief Executive Officer and the Human Resources Department; d. Provide consultation and advice to CHA's Office of the General Counsel, the Chief Executive Officer and the Director of Human Resources; e. File status reports with CHA’s Office of the General Counsel; f. Present one (1) training session for each contract year for CHA’s Office of the General Counsel personnel on a pro bono basis; g. Provide periodic reports in a form prescribed by CHA and send such reports to the CHA’s Office of the General Counsel, HUD, or others as directed by CHA; and h. Comply with CHA’s Office of the General Counsel’s Outside Counsel Billing Guidelines.
