This contract provides for on-call repairs of all built-in-place appliances including, but not limited to, stoves, ranges, refrigerators, dishwashers, clothes washers, clothes dryers and ice makers, as needed at all City owned and leased properties. Repairs and services are to include inspection, diagnosis, ordering, collecting and delivering parts as needed, and testing and adjusting appliances for proper performance. Contractor is expected to be able to service and repair all major appliance brands including, but not limited to, Bluestar, Thermador and Wolf. Contractor shall not provide services for any moveable appliances that are not built into the City’s facilities, and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. Prevailing Wage rates shall be required to be paid for appliance repairs. Diagnostics shall not require non-Prevailing Wage. The City intends to award one contract for an initial period of three (3) years, with the option to extend for one (1) additional year. The period of this Bid and its prices shall be for one (1) year, commencing on the effective date of the contract.
