King County is soliciting bids from interested and qualified firms to provide Window Tint. The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to establish a contract to provide goods or services on an as needed basis. Any quantities listed herein are for bidding evaluation purposes only and represent King County’s estimated annual requirements. The County will be neither obligated nor restricted to the quantities or locations indicated. The five (5) year value of the Contract is approximately $150,000. King County will not be limited, restricted or bound by this dollar value, nor shall the County be obligated to purchase any items contained in this ITB. The term of the Contract will be five (5) years, subject to the termination clauses contained herein. King County reserves the right to extend the Contract term if determined to be in the best interest of the County. 2.2 Specification Each tinting application will vary from 5% to 70%, per vehicle. For bidding purposes, please quote the following: • “Detective Tint”: 2023 Ford Explorer with factory tint in rear doors, rear sides and rear glass comes to your shop to have the following installed: o 30% front door glass (both sides), o 30% in remaining rear glass (over the top of factory tint) and o 30% brow tint (6 inches down from top of windshield). 2.3 Fleet Vehicles Below is a list of standard fleet vehicles that will be serviced under this contract. This list is not meant to be a final list, but an example of vehicle types. • Ford Explorer Police Interceptor Utility or similar size o Chevy Traverse o Chevy Equinox o Chevy Tahoe • Ford F-150 or Super Duty Line o Other pickup trucks of similar size
