In 2024, KPPA mailed 152,831 1099Rs and estimates mailing at least 153,000, however, the range may increase to 155,000-160,000 in 2025.The selected vendor must adhere to a mailing deadline of 1/24/2025. KPPA will provide the 1099R template, 1099R file layout and a text file with data to populate each payee's form. KPPA will provide artwork and print files for the informational insert and envelopes. Vendor must provide proofs. Prior to mailing, KPPA requests at least three sets of samples be provided at specific steps in the process. There could potentially be more sample sets required if corrections are necessary. Samples must be submitted to KPPA for review within five days of each request. Samples should be delivered to the KPPA office in Frankfort to the attention of Stephanie Aldridge, stephanie.aldridge@kyret.ky.gov, Director of Retiree Services.
